Who we are
Founded by Mariam Ghafoori, an Afghan refugee in the Netherlands, She Forward supports girls and women in Afghanistan through secondary education and skills development programs.
Under Taliban rule, Afghan women and girls face severe restrictions on education and participation in public life. She Forward works to provide accessible learning opportunities that help them build knowledge, confidence, and future opportunities.
Our Vision
We envision a prosperous, equal, and just Afghanistan where women and girls are able to learn, contribute to society, and reach their full potential.
Our Mission
We provide Afghan girls aged 13 and above with access to education through online and in-person learning, helping them continue their studies despite existing barriers.
Our approach
Our programs are designed with deep understanding of the cultural and societal realities faced by Afghan girls and women.
